I fyou want a simple project for this lovely yarn, how about a Penny Scarf.  I found it used just over 100g so we have made up kits of the right amount of yarn and provide  the pattern.  All you need to do is supply the needles and choose the colour. It makes a lovely gift to a knitter friend too.  If you require needles, please choose the kit with needles.  This version of the kits includes a pair of 4.5mm straight needles and a set of 4mm double ended needles.
 
Appledore Aran is a blend of Devon Closewool, a moorland breed with rustic and grippy fibre, with lustrous and characterful Romney and our old favourite, the gloriously bouncy Exmoor Blueface. The resulting blend is packed full of woolly bounce and a smattering of lustre.
