We buy Ryeland fleeces from a small Ryeland sheep farmer near Eye.  We bought our Ryeland ewes, Mocha and Latte from him a few years back.  He has quite a lot of coloured Ryelands which depending on age (they get lighter as they get older) and breed can be a wonderful dark chocolate.  The lighter coloured is a glorious mix of lighter brown and grey.  As our only coloured Ryeland, Mocha's fleece tends to get special treatment and is spun on its own.
